Faithful?

So I just finished reading in my devotions. I use a little booklet called On Track Devotions. Anyway the topic today was faith. The scripture used was Romans 4. A couple verses in this chapter really challenged me. Romans 4:18-22 (ESV) In hope he believed against hope, that he should become a
father of many nations, as he had been told, "So shall your offspring be." He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able was able to do what he promised. That is why his faith was "counted to him as righteousness."

We see here the absolute faith of Abraham. Even though it seemed to everyone, even himself, that it was impossible for him to have offspring Abraham still had faith. I find myself now looking at my own walk with the Lord. In what areas am I lacking faith? Where are my strong points? I would encourage you to do the same. Examine your life.

Just a thought.
