Happy November, Halloween, and NaNoWriMo!

Happy November, everyone! We all know what that means. NaNoWriMo!!! Yippy! I wish all you writers luck. May God bless the novels you write. I will not really be doing NaNoWriMo this year, but I will be trying to finish my short novel, The Armor of God. (I may change the name) As you can see off to the side, I am only 15% done with it!!! Another 85% to go. (Which currently seems impossible) That's a lot. I'll keep you updated as often as I can. This will mean many late nights, cups of coffee, and sour fingertips. But it is so much fun! I thank God that he has given me the desire to write.
Again I say good luck and have a wonderful November!

An Excerpt From The Armor of God

Hello, all readers! Here is an excerpt from my upcoming novel: The Armor of God. (Please keep in mind that it is unedited) If you spot any errors, please point them out with a comment. Enjoy!

The two figures watched the confident girl walk down the narrow path.
Persuasion turned his eyes from the girl to his enemy, Jonathan. He felt the handsome features that once covered his body melt away to his ugly self. He reached at his side and pulled out his twisted sword.
“I knew you would show up, Persuasion,” Jonathan said, drawing his own sword. Bright light from the weapon flashed into Persuasion’s eyes. “You use your dark magic against a child. I will finish you here and now.”
“Ha, you’d like that wouldn’t you.” Persuasion opened his mouth and spewed blood red flames at his enemy. Persuasion cut the flames off and charged through the smoke at his enemy. He jumped and swung his sword in a powerful downward arc.
It stopped short of flesh by a hard metal shield. Pain racked up Persuasion’s side. He stepped away and nursed the wound with his hand, removing it at the feel of the warm oozing substance. Jonathan’s sword cut amidst the hanging smoke. Persuasion blocked it and countered with a thrust.
He heard a cry of agony.
“Lord, give me strength,” followed.
“Don’t speak such names in my presence,” Persuasion hissed. He blew out more flames, slowly stepping forward. He stopped the flames, jumped, and stabbed his sword behind the shield at the quivering Aid.
Jonathan’s gleaming sword kicked the black blade away. Persuasion ducked into a ball and rolled. He stopped in a crouch.
His enemy stood and charged. Persuasion ducked under the bright blade and swung low.
His enemy jumped the sword and slashed at his back. Persuasion flicked his sword up, knocking the blow away. Persuasion jumped to his feet and swung with all his might. Their swords locked and they stared into each other’s fiery eyes.
Two opposing forcing fighting for their different purposes. One evil the other good. One would leave victorious, the other in defeat.
“Why don’t you give up now,” Persuasion pestered. “You know who wins this.” He clenched his teeth and pushed hard, gaining a little ground. His enemy’s back bent farther backwards. “We’ll get the book from her and destroy it! Ha!” He cried out in frustration. “Once the book is gone, we’ll slowly kill your defenseless people.” Persuasion felt his opponents anger coming through in the stalemate.
Persuasion broke the sword lock and swung at his opponents side. Jonathan’s shield swept the blade away. Persuasion’s enemy attempted to stick his opponent’s stomach which Persuasion dodged by twisting his body.
He parried with two quick swings that his opponent blocked. Persuasion pressed forward, swinging furiously. Expertly, Jonathan blocked each. After another series, Persuasion’s enemy stepped forward and swung. Persuasion lifted his sword up in the air. Quickly, his enemy switched directions.
Persuasion’s legs kicked out from under himself. He fell hard on his back. His ankle was mangled.
“She’ll never make it,” Persuasion sneered. “She’s too weak.”
“Your words do not dishearten me, Persuasion. Your name does not suit you well. It should be Liar. I can see right around your false words.”
“Huh? I believe you were the one that fell to my words at our last meeting.” Persuasion waited for a retort that didn’t come. “I’ve had enough of this tiresome game. This is only the beginning, my friend. Before this battle is over, we’ll fight again.” Persuasion vanished into a cloud of red and left.

For Clarification

As I am sure you know, lately, I have been posting a lot about the upcoming elections. After thinking it over today, I decided I needed to clarify something.

Romney is not and will NOT be perfect. There really is no perfect person for the job because everyone makes mistakes. Nobody can make America perfect. We are all fallen because of our sin nature.

Second, I do not agree at all with Mitt's religious beliefs and some of his political points. He is a Mormon I am a Christian. There is no other way to put it.

I hope that my posts did not come across this way. If they did, sorry.

REMEMBER!!! Pray that God's will would be done in the upcoming elections and VOTE!!!!

My Sincere Appologies

Some of you might have noticed a post I had a little while ago. It stated that I was going to self-publish a short novel called WATERWAY in late March. Well...soon after I had an idea to rewrite the novel with a completely different perspective. After forty pages, it seemed shallow (in a Christians perspective that is) and dark. So now I am writing a novel on the Armor of God. If it is shorter than the average novel, I will probably self-publish, but if it is the average novel length, I will try to get it published.

On the side I will be researching/writing a London Mystery novel. I am supper excited for both of these projects, and I will be hopefully be posting some excerpts soon.

Wanna keep up on my different projects? I will have two different thingies on the side that will keep you updated. Each will show what percentage I am at being done with each project. Check them frequently!

P. S. Prayers appreciated!!!

The Vice Presidential Debate

Uhg! I am so fired up with this vice presidential debate!!! Did anyone else notice how obnoxiousness Biden was? Of course you did. Everyone did! Every time Paul Ryan got really serious about something, Biden would either smile or laugh. How disrespectful can you get? It was like Biden was saying, "Hey, Ryan, nobody cares! Everyone just wants to hear me and see me. They don't even care about what you have to say." Oh! it makes me mad! I hope and pray that Romney and Ryan win. I don't know if America can take another four years with Obama as president. And I mean no disrespect by that. He just isn't cut out to be President of The United States of America!
Why? Well just a few reasons.

#1. Obama and Biden are saying they're going to "thin down" the Navy. What?! Okay, so because we have this national debt we're going to cut down on our defense to fix it? Why don't we cut down on...well anything else but our defenses.

#2. Abortion. They are Pro-Abortion. This ticks me off. I won't even go into all the details of why this is wrong.

#3. They've had four years to try to fix America and all they've done is mess it up worse!

These are just a few reasons. But they are important points. So remember to vote!!! I can't stress it enough. Go out there and VOTE!!!!

Politic, Love em or Hate em...

...they ARE important!!! Lately, I've heard people complaining about how boring and confusing they are. And, sometimes, I think the same thing. But, again, they are important. Especially, the presidential election. These elections will effect you, your children, and your children's children. Though, I know a lot of you out there can't vote, there are some things you can do.

#1. Pray. Pray that God's will will be done in the elections. Pray for the current president, that God would give him wisdom.

#2. Encourage others to vote. There are a lot of people out there that don't think it's important. How? Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and that age old thing everyone used to do, talk to them.

So what are you waiting for? Go get that message out there! Vote!!!
