I have recently been reading in my history book about the early church. It came to my realization that we are truly blessed to not have to endure such hardships as they did. Being dipped in tar and set afire, or being hung by their hair and drowned (to name just a few). We live in an awesome (not perfect) country that has freedom of religion. Thank God. We don't have to live in catacombs a in order to worship our Lord above, or be chased around by soldiers all of our lives. Again thank God. He is so awesome. So now I challenge you to thank Him for our freedom. And to also pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ that do not have freedom of religion.
Just a thought.
