How It Could Have Started

For those of you who don't know this I am a daydreamer. So the other day I was thinking about the rapture when I realized how gracious God is to give us a way out of the tribulation. The most terrible time this young Earth had ever endured and God is going to let us get out of it before it even starts! Then my mind slowly moved to the beginning of time. To the Garden of Eden. I thought about the very beginning. The first day God created the Heavens and the Earth etc. etc. (By etc. I don't mean to discredit God creating everything. That is truly amazing; although, it is not the point I am trying to get across).  Anyway on the sixth day He creates man. But man is all alone so God then creates woman from the rib of Adam. Here they are in this garden with everything they would need. But God tells them that there is this one tree of which they can not eat of. Okay no big deal it's just one tree. Then of course Satan comes in the form of a serpent. He tempts Eve who eats the desirable fruit then gives some to Adam.   Here they are in this garden with everything they would need. But God tells them that there is this one tree of which they can not eat of. Okay no big deal it's just one tree. Then of course Satan comes in the form of a serpent. He tempts Eve who eats the desirable fruit then gives some to Adam. Suddenly, fire comes down from Heaven and destroys Earth!!! Okay that's not really what happened but if I were God (which I am not) then I would have said, "You idiotic fools!!! That's enough of you!" Let's just say we're all extremely blessed that I am not God. We should all thank God for being gracious and merciful to us. We may say while were reading this story, "Don't eat the fruit you'll just make life harder for the rest of us!" But how many times has God given you mercy?

Just a thought from a daydreamer
