A Trip
Every year our youth group goes on a missions trip. This year they're going to Shepards. Basically, it is a home for the mentally disabled. Well, as it turned out, all the freshmen were not allowed to go. (Shepard's rules). I was kind of down about. I have always wanted to go on a missions trip. But it didn't work out. Then, out of the blue, my mom's friend called. She said that her son (who is my friend) is going to New York with Open Air Campaigners. They go onto the street and share the gospel through painting. It was a huge HUGE blessing to be asked to go! I can't wait! I will leave the beginning of the last week of July. Please PLEASE pray that it would go well.

Tenth Chapter
A little update from my novel. I am finishing up the tenth chapter. Ten out of around sixty. (I know sounds excessive). Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to hit it hard! WHAM!!! But, as of now, I am crazy busy. Thought I'd leave you with a little teaser from what I have so far. So here is the prologue that goes before that first chapter. I ended up writing it later. Hope you enjoy it!
Prologue
Jake sat in the comfortable leather seat. He gripped the wheel hard. Jake watched the woman in the small coffee shop. She nursed a warm looking drink. She wore a red blouse, grey skirt just above the knee, and black high heels.
She seemed to keep looking around for someone.
The window Jake stared through read: Come in Thirsty, Leave Satisfied.
He wasn’t there for coffee. The woman picked up a lime green phone from her black purse. She dialed ten quick digits and then held the phone to her ear.
Jake’s phone rang startling him.
It rang again.
A second time.
He picked it up off the dash and answered it.
“Hello?”
“Are you going to sit there and watch me or come in?” It was her.
Jake clicked the end button. He lifted his eyes from the steering wheel back to the window. She was staring at him through the window.
Jake whipped his shades off and exited the car. Cars whizzed by on the packed street.
Jake stepped around his car and walked to the black door. He shoved it open. A bell sounded above him. The smell of coffee hit him immediately leaving him standing in the doorway.
“Take a seat,” the woman said snapping Jake from his trance.
Jake walked over to her and did as she wished. Another coffee cup sat in front of him.
“I wasn’t sure what you liked so I got you a mocha.”
He took a sip to be polite. The rich, sweet, thick brew cascaded down his throat leaving with him a lovable after taste.
“It’s good,” he lamely stated.
“I’ll get right to the point. I need to know everything.
“Everything?”
“Everything.”
“Okay, here’s my first question. Why? If I told anyone of those events I would have to kill that person. Do you want to die?”
“I’m with the FBI.” She threw a badge onto the table. “I need to know.”
There was a pause.
“So… everything?”
“Everything.
“Do you know about the rogue agent?”
“No.”
“The FBI’s investigation?”
“Negative.”
“The terrorists attack?”
“Nope.”
“Well, then I guess I’ll have to start at the beginning. The very beginning.”

Not Looking good for WTB Fans:(
It looks like the third Berinfell book (the Tide of Unmaking) will not be released until later summer! Possibly the end of summer!!! Although Wayne Thomas Batson said that it will make the word EPIC run to its mommy in tears! Ha ha! Shoot if it does that, I'll wait another year for it! Still can't wait for it to come out!
